Default m97 wrx hesitates

I been looking around for awhile but this is my first post .Sorry its in the tech section but i need help being new to the scooby scene.

Got a problem i have been trying to fix .Its been there since i got the car and is really starting to get on my nerves.

I'll try and explain it the best i can.

Car idles/runs fine when off boost. It also seems to boost fine for the first 20mins or there abouts then it start to get a judder when giving it the beans.
I have cleaned the maf ,boost solenoid and the cone filter.Fitted new plugs and a fuel filter.I think these things have helped be it still has the problem but i dont think its so bad now.

What would be my next move ?Dont want to just chuck parts at it.

Cars a 97 wrx btw

The engine check light came on for about 30sec.The revs sat at 2.5k then the light went out and revs drop to around .4 at idle for about 30sec .
Then returned to normal and it has been since
Might not be related to the judder/hesitation

Now i'm getting fault code 24( Idle air control solenoid )

I bought my first impreza about 5 weeks ago. 97 wrx import.

It wasn't idling great and was hesitating.

It had a HKS cone filter on it before I bought it.

Luckily the standard airbox was in the boot - fitted that and now runs fine.

From what I have read on this forum, only use an open filter with a remap. Although some peoples cars run fine without a remap

That may solve part of your problems.

Not related to your problems but worth noting as a newbie to imprezas be careful what fuel you are using if it is an import. I use tesco's 99 octane, again as recommended on this forum.

Got a standard airbox on the way to replace my cone filter.
Before it arrive can someone tell me where the pipe that currently go's onto the alu bend will go once the airbox and hose are fitted.

I have already bought an airbox but it turned out to be the wrong one(Bolt holes for the maf werent lining up)and i noticed there is a connection type thing beside the air intake but its blanked if you know what i mean.

Any help would be appreciated

the connection is a 90 (LSHAPPED) plastic thing that jst pushes onto the pipe then pushes into the hole underneath the alu. can you not get 1 from where you got the air box????????? i will try and put a pic of it tomoz as gona try and tackle this faking hesetation prob
