Default Can disconnecting the battery make motor sluggish

2007 STI - Battery went flat and disconnected it to charge. Is it my imagination that it felt a little sluggish this morning after reconnecting?

I mean, does total loss of power cause the ECU to loose all those things it has learned? Honestly - Even the throttle didn't feel as responsive!?

And if yes... Is there anyway of getting those learned settings back faster?

As far as I know - the ecu will reset itself when the small rertainig charge goes after an hour or so.
I belive the ECU will take around 20 drives of the car to bring its learning back up.
Sure one of the mappers on here could advise you better though.
