can this be done (retro fit spec c roof vent)
hey folks just wondering if this can be done (incl cost wise)
i have a uk MY03 sti and would like to fit a spec c rooft vent to it
now could this be done
or were the spec c's roof designed with the hole enabling the vent to be installed

It's not a bad job to do - Make sure you get the headlining, and internal scoop surround and brackets with the vent

i ordered all my roof vent kit from japanparts cost about £400 inc tax, frayz fitted it for me to a factory fit standard, not sure why you would need to buy a new head lining though i never needed one, there worth every penny mate but i would let frayz fit it for you as its just not worth the hastle doing it yourself, its not worth getting stressed and breaking trims as i would of done, cheers steve.

There quite easy to fit... its just having the bollox to do it
Ive fitted 5 RA vents into classics and i fitted a spec c to mine 2 weeks ago

There is or was the last time I looked an S202 / Spec C roof vent for sale on eBay for around £200 plus P&P.

cannon - cheers mate ive had a look but its a dif colour and doesnt come with bolts etc
brand new is only 350 delivered from japan

No problem, be aware that the trim clips/plugs shown in the second pic are £3 each x 7 so just make sure that they come with the roof vent.
