Took mine off last month and I can't remember any adjustability when putting it back.

Do you want the workshop manual pdfs for the bumper and rear lights?
If so then PM me with an email.

Has the bumper been in a knock? it may have deformed too far to spring back into shape.

I don't think its been in a knock, its rubbing on the inside of the bootlid, along the bottom edge. It looks like it could slide up & in slightly.

Could you take a picture of the back of your car, you have the same as me, don't you?

I don't think there is any way to adjust the bumper's alignment. If it doesn't line up right, and the car is straight (no major accidents) it could be the bumper clips or the bumper itself is slightly deformed.

I had a problem with my 08 STI's front bumper. Turned out to be the large plastic bumper clips that secure the bumper to the body. They looked fine, but was infact slightly deformed.

Cheers for the pics, I'll post some up as a comparison once I get mine back from the garage, its in for a service at the moment.

Suberman - its definitely straight, you might be right about the clips though.
