im going to fit a TD05 16G to my 2002 wrx ppp. i was wondering whether i would need to get bigger water/oil return pipes etc. and if anyone has fitted one and made a guide with pictures etc, whether they could post it on here?

You'll need a compressor cover that's been converted to Front Entry.
Use the 16g's oil drain pipe and water lines, and it's a direct fit.
It's sometimes necessary to slightly relieve the g/box bellhousing a little, to allow the water pipies to fit without fouling.
