Default gearbox & clutch question help

Well finally got my 93 classic back on the road today after my bottom end failure, all seems good except 2 things im getting a whine from the box which wasn't there before (in every gear) and we had trouble getting the clutch right.
The clutch is working however it's not returning to the top , any ideas on these would be good?
cheers
baz

had the same problem when i put a new engine in the other halfs car, the whine turned out to be the release bearin or thrush bearin (which ever one you call it) and a oil change cured it, the peddle we just bled and it turned out right

lol @ thrush. A bad dose of it will always be the cause of an annoying whine.
