Default boost problems

Hello i am little bit annoyed at the moment my 1995 impreza is sometimes boosting and 0.9bar and then sometimes at 0.5bar i cant understand why it is doing this can any one help please?

Also have been told you can convert the coilpacks what they are at the moment to a single coilpack with HT leads witch i belive is on the later models.

It sounds like your boost solenoid may be on the blink mate, try cleaning it through with carb cleaner.

I have tried flushing it through still no luck and another person said it could be coilpacks not sure why this would effect boost? But if it does can you convert my coilpacks into ht leads as coil packs all ways break down. And I thought you can't put fault code reader on an import?

Follow these instructions to check for error codes.

If nothing shows, take off all the small boost/vac lines and check for blockages, cracks and splits. Over filling the engine oil can cause simular problems, as the exess oil gets blown around by the breathers and ends up contaminating the boost/vac system.

Is it a 2 or 3 port boost control solenoid??

the coil packs wont cause the car to cut the boost and go into limp mode, the usual failure signs of coils pack are misses when coming on boost and on cold damp mornings.
