Hi guys,
Me and marty on here changed my headgasket on my 93' jap import impreza. Its all running ok but there are a few cables that i havent got a clue where they go. One of the previous owners changed all the hoses on the engine and fitted a few aftermarket parts (water/methanol injection etc) and to be honest im abit lost with a few of the pipes. I took the car to the Impreza breakers in Brooke, Norfolk and they dont even know where a few of the pipes go........ I was just wondering if any of you lovely people that lived in east anglia would be able to pop over and see if you know where they go? If not would it be best to upload some pics of the pipes that i cant reconnect......??

what pipes are they ? where are they in the engine bay?

 

Elo mate, yea there is a few in there that i aint got a clue where they go... The impreza geezers at brooke didnt even know where they go....?

 

lol, is it the pipes around the turbo / boost solenoid ?

your best bet is to upload pic using photobucket.com then some1 on hear should be able to help mate.

@ billy: yea mate its those pipes around the boost solenoid.........

 

are there pipes going on the solenoid? and the turbo ?

how many are not connected? is the pipe which goes o the boost gauge connected?

 

I didnt realise how much they connected, these are the only two pipes that i can find that are disconnected. I did notice that the turbo timer aint working tho??? Any reason why it might not be working? thanks

 

second one - dump valve? On the bottom? Erm can't be hard to find them, just one thing, dont boot it unless there all done or you may end up over boosting.
