Im looking at buying an impreza p1 with what ive been told is a melted piston but cannot be sure could be anything (not running).
What sort of money would you pay for a non running p1 late number 950+ 89k miles only 2 owners?

WHats the cheapest people have paid for re-build on these?

 

dont know about what the cheapest price is....But had a friend who had a P1 melt a piston as well,which also wrecked the turbo - had all work and rebuild carried out at GBH motorsport at a cost of around 4k!!

 

i'd say 4k and dont even think about a cheap rebuild as it will only bit you in the ****,
how bout putting a 2.5 in it ?

 

there is a p1 engine on ebay now at £1400
