Default Turbo gaskets? help required?

Hi Lads.
Gonna have a go at changing my turbo from td04 to a VF? front entry ready for a remap
Im an engineer and worked a lot on my car, struts brakes etc but never changed a turbo
any help or advice. I can lift the car a fair way so i can get underneath..

How many gaskets do i need?
is it Just a down pipe to turbo gasket?

Cheers lads

I fyou do it the easy way by dropping the mani and front pipe complete out the way then you'll need 2 manifold to head gaskets-1 uppipe to turbo gasket and 1 down pipe to turbo gasket.
Also if its a secondhand unit you will also need an oil return gasket and new oil feed banjo bolt as there different for the vf units

i would recomend that you use o.e gaskets throughout as some ebay 1s and non o.e`s just aint up to the job. either use HARVEY`s kit or try
www.cotcomp.com these guys are good ,ordered my downpipe gasket and it came next day and by far the best price
