Default Which Turbo?

Hi Guys i own a 06 blobeye sti which i am gonna be starting to mod over the winter and store as a second car as it's too good to use as a daily driver also our weekly commute is 400 miles on average so it will keep the mileage down too.

Car is currently running 360bhp & 350lb ft with Andy forrest remap, Green panel filter, ngk 7 plugs, Decat downpipe, straighthrough centre, ninja backbox.

I need advise on turbo's:

1: what is the most power i can run without changing the standard internals?

2. Ive heard the 20g is good for 400-420 but spools late and violently?
the md231h/t which one is the better of the two?

3. are there any others i haven't mentioned that could be better for 400+ with better drivability and torque throughout the range?

Any help and input is appreciated guys!

Cheers- Stu

1. You're at it now more or less.

2. Nonsense.
The 20g on a 2.5 engine spools up early.
I do 1 bar @ 2700 rpm and peak boost at 3000 rpm. It delivers power long after the VF43 has choked up.
I thought that a violent spool was a benefit

i know its ok for a violent spool but was told that for instance on a spirited drive with a mate with same power if he was running a md321 and i was running a 20g by the time ive got full boost he would be 150 yards up the road in front?

i thought you could run 400-420 on standard internals? no?

Your ok to run 400 but not really beyond without pushing your luck and if you read the thread on 20g vs md the most comman out come is md rules but dont knock the 20g as for the value against the md its not to bad at all mate.hope this helps
