Default Hks ssqv

Hi guys just a quick one, I bought my scoob with an hks ssqv already fitted and it seems like something is missing from the back of it, there's a hole with a thread in it in the centre, here's a pic

Any ideas?

Thanks

Probably the take-off for the vacuum pipe. Bin it and put a re-circ on, the throttle response will be better.

Okay through extensive research I've found out there is an adjuster screw missing from the back which is most likely causing me to leak boost. I've disconnected the dv and woah what a difference! Perhaps I can feel a "told u so" post coming on for all the gurus on here telling me not to bother with vta valves! I hang my head in shame! Lol

Just find a bolt that fits and job done mate. I have had two SSQVs on different scoobies and had no problems, when I get some cash I will be after another for my Bugeye.

+1

HKS SSQV's are the dogs danglies mate I have one on my 00 turbo and I love it

Everyone raves on about the std recirc ones but the fact is they sound bor-ing, the HKS one gives different sounds depending on boost pressure and how quickly you release the pedal, wouldn't swap it for owt
