cloud making machine
95 import wrx
let me set the scene, last week i drove to the unit to swap my exhaust for a quieter one. (drove there with no running probs). i jacked up one side to get more access and left it like that for a week because i got called away.
today i finnished the exhaust and dropped it to the ground, fired it up and got clouds of white smoke, and oil inside the tailpipe.
i first thought it was some oil that soaked into the bores with being jacked up. but that would of burnt off ??(im probably barking up the wrong tree) but its still doing it .
when you give it a rev it gets worse.
any ideas ?
possibly turbo ?? but would it just go like that ? and wouldnt it be blue smoke ??
thanks in advance and sorry for the essay

may just be condensation where the exhaust has been sitting around. can take ages to get rid of it especially if the rear box is full of condensation as it takes ages for the heat to get that far down the pipe
I suspect the oil in the tail pipe maybe dirty black water have you felt it with your fingers to ensure its oil

ok i got it stripped this morning and found that the turbo is spitting alot of oil into the intercooler.
would i be right to say its turbo oil seals ?? (totally fecked ones at that)

Could well be. So the 'cold' snail of the turbo is also chucking out a lot of oil? Start her up with bare turbo exposed [if possible] and see if it literally is chucking oil out. If it is then yes theres no other reason really.
