Cosworth Baffle doesn't fit my block?
I bought a cosworth baffle plate for my closed deck block, and when i tried to fit it yesterday i found out it doesn't fit at all. The two vertical plates on the back of the baffleplate hit the block and the baffleplate doesnt fall in place.
There is a huge gap between the block and the plate:
Looking through this hole you can see the vertical plate touching the block:
And the baffleplate removed:

Does there need to be any space between the vertical pieces and the block? Or do i need to trim te pieces until the plate just fits the block?

They were designed for the EJ207 but need a little 'fettle' to fit the center thrust blocks.
Needs approx 2.50mm removing to clear the webs and its prudent to remove the rubber flaps to clean the swarf out properly.
