Default FAO subaru technical guru's!

Hi Folks, as per title, every forum's got 'em!

I'm hoping someone can help me out a little here/point me in the right direction, a friend of mine has bought this; https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...ct-spares.html He's asked me to take a look at it for him (i'm a mechanic) and get it running, What im wanting to know firstly is what are the differences between the uk ecu's and jap ecu's? And is the Z4 ecu jap or uk? i've been told it's just the cam and crank sensor pins that differ, can anyone confirm this? after a quick search all i can find is people saying just to use the correct ecu.

Also, can anyone tell me if the V2 coils (coil on plug) are compatible with the Z4 ecu?

Many Thanks
Will

it is a 1996 wrx 260ps verison 2

Z4 will be mapped for 97 RON late 94-96 wrx (no version number as that was reserved for classic STIs).
Just had a look at the advert and it says it has a remapped Z4 ecu, these can only be altered by using a chip or daughterboard added to the main board
