Does anyone know if the cats on this model are particularly restrictive?
ie. is there much to be gained from going down the decat route on this particular model?

According to Mike Wood of Prodrive the MY06 STi cat was less restrictive than before and tantamount to a semi sportscat. Much to be gained yes, but you need it mapped properly to avoid overboosting issues more prevalent on the MY06
