Default EcuTek Remap.

My 1999 T UK Turbo Wagon had a EcuTek Remap done by the previous owner.

This was carried out by a Pat Herborn whilst the vehicle was in for service with Xtreme Scoobies in Essex about three years ago.

The service invoice says only that no other details other than it cost £450 back then.

Anyone idea what BHP increase its likely to have made and are there different types of remap.

There are no other mods to the car its bog standard oh just a panel filter.

Thanks.

Rough guess given what you've told us about the spec would be circa 250bhp, 230-240lb/ft torque. However with a TD04 the beauty isn't so much in the numbers, it's in the very early spool and excellent throttle response.

If you want to know more it might be worth getting in touch with Pat and asking him if he has a record of the car.
