Default classic v3 sti air filter box

hi, i'd like to change my air filter and can't open the airbox.
i removed the clips and moved the ancilliaries, and couldn't remove the top of the box !
can anyone tell me if i forgot to remove something to access the airbox?
anyone did that and took any pics to see how to do it right?
thanks
Daniel

The top of the airbox engages with the base - Like a tongue and groove on the engine side of the airbox.

If you've undone the clips and the inlet hose, pull th lid towards the wing and up, and it should come out.
