Default piston question

i have a 1993 wrx with CDB just brought some ver3 sti heads today for progect starting next year, just wondered if buying sti ver3 pistons would be better than i have now ?

I would go forged.

STi Version 3~4 pistons are Forged and would be a good upgrade over the the early WRX cast dogbone pistons.
If you intend on running over 350 bhp (ball park figure) then it would be prudent to go for aftermarket forged pistons and a set of steel rods to 'future proof' the engine because as you know - once you start modding, you just cant stop

ohhh no not looking for that sought of power , running a safe 300bhp maybe a tad more say about the 320bhp mark, in a early classic i think thats more than enough for a family car
