Default defi gauge fitting question

Hi all

I have a pair of old defi oil pressure and temp gauges and the link control unit box. I have the leads to connect the gauges to the control unit and power supply. Ive also got the sandwich plate for the oil filter itself.

Where will I get the leads to connect the gauges an control unit to the sandwich plate etc and how much am I looking at cost wise just to buy the things?

Thinking about flogging what ive got on ebay and just buying a less well known gauge set from scoobyworld or revolution247 instead.

But then again they are defis

Help

Buy the senders. Defis are worth it.

OK, each gauge has the gauge itself, plus a daisy chain wire to the next gauge, (about 15cm long with a white multi-plug on each end.
The last gauge in the chain has a longer daisy chain lead about 1m 40cm which goes to the control unit.

Then, each gauge also has a sender which plugs into the control unit. Eache sender it particular to it's gauge and it's multi-plug is colour coded. the wiring to each sender is in two parts, a short bit from the sender to a multi-connector, then a longer thinner bit to the gauge.
The control unit also has four captive wires which are red, orange white and black.

They go to permanent live, switched live, lighting live and earth.

So you need whichever of the above you don't have, OK?

Does the sanwich plate have the sensors fitted ?

As they are seriously costly...

Cables are quite cheap !

HTH
