Newb with Forester STi
Hi everyone,
Could anyone pls give me some advice on a 2006 Forester STi im in the process of purchasing. Its the first time iv'e owned anything like this so pls forgive me if i maybe come across as dumb!!! LOL
The FSTi im getting has a Gadget called a AVC-R boost controller on it.
Will the car be better off without this or is it beneficial to keep it on?
The car has been looked after by CarPlanet so was going to give them a ring tomorrow to ask there advice too.Any advice guys would be greatly appreciated as my knowledge is so little on these things. I just want the car to be as reliable as possible but also without killing the fun factor!!!!
Cheers, Ian

Why not post over on http://www.Subaruforester.org in the Europe forum.
AFAIK NorthDownsScooby runs his 2006 Forester STI at 360 bhp / 398 FtLbs with the aid of an AVC-R.
