Please excuse my ignorance but only just re-entered the world of Imprezas after about 10 years having had Pug track cars for 5 years.

I have a Bugeye which is fairly standard bar a turbo timer, induction kit and exhaust. Is there any gain to be made, and does it all fit, if I exchange the standard inlet and IC for Sti V7 items incl pink injectors, or would my money be better spent else where for increase in power (excluding a remap) ?

If the answer's yes it does work well has anyone got any of the items for sale

It all fits ,i wouldnt bother with the manifold,with the i/c and a decat pipe a remap will give you about 270bhp.If you change the injectors you will need to upgrade the turbo or it will be a waste of time but then you could go to about 340bhp

 

Ah ok thanks, so would be right in thinking therefore that a V7 sti turbo would be a suitable upgrade or are there other ones better suited ?

 

yeh that would be good v8 sti as well.you can also buy the td05 turbos but only buy genuine ones,not cheap ones on ebay they fail within very few miles.you can also get your standard one reworked for about £400 you then have a warranty and there supposed to be good for about 300bhp
