Default Intercooler spray tank removal

Hi,

Can anyone help with removing the I/C tank? I've the two main mounting bolts out but something else is holding it in?

If someone could give me some direction with a list of what to disconnect that'd be awesome

Yep, the standard STi one on the right hand side. It's doing my head in, but I know it's something simple so I've left it for tonight. Once I know I'll rip it out tomorrow

Im looking at one now but i didnt take it out.theres only 2 bolt holes but underneath there a offset lug which looks like you have to push in or pull towards you to disconnect it before you can lift out ,the lug points towards the pump side

Cheers fella

Is there any chance you could post or email me a pic?

I had a snoop around and there are two bolts on the larger 'frame' then if you look in the gap between the frame and the bottle there are two smaller collared nuts that are in the centre line of the bottle. I removed them all as I couldn't work it out, and given it was getting dark with not a lot of room in there I gave up

All sorted guys! I managed to get it out this afternoon. The little lug is a pain, in my case it was really tight, almost like it was bolted in.

Anyway all's well that ends well as they say.
