Default Silicone airbox to turbo hose? Advice

Peeps.I recently purchased a Japspeed silicone airbox/filter to turbo hose and fitted it today with much finger scraping and swearing lol.
Anyway, before fitting the part seemed of reasonable quality but upon fitting i found it wasnt a perfect fit that i was expecting in that the shape was straighter as opposed to the o/e part that has an unusual shape to it and this made fitting a bugger.
I have to fit a couple of clips to finish in the morning but im in two minds wether to fit the original again as i noticed that the hose could be pushed inwards at the larger end and wondered wether this is a cause for concern. Will the suction when accelerating deform this hose or isnt there enough suction that could cause this?????its about 76mm in diameter.

Now i know you get what you pay for and if the advice i get means replacing the o/e part then i will, simple as. Thanks in advance.

oh 2001 wrx newage. While we are it,all the vents/pipes to the hose,do they need to vent back into the pipe or can they be routed elsewhere???

It is quite normal for the hose to have a little flex at the airfilter/maf end of the pipe. ,and even the more expensive samco units do exactly the same.No need to worry though as the extra diameter of your japspeed hose even when it flexes is still wider than the std o/e unit.
