I ran a front mount on my MY00 for 2 years before getting it mapped, seemed ok but did make a difference once it was remapped.

You can, but what would be the point?

Apart from saving a bit of money you would pay to the mapper, EVERYTHING else is in the negatives

I have removed a FMIC which was on a car that hadnt been mapped for it. The car ran awful with it on, no torque, huge amounts of turbo lag and ran very rich.

Have put the top mount on and it feels like a new car.
