Default Cha bulbnging parking light

am trying to change the parking light on the drivers side and according to the manual its a case of undoing the screw by the headlight then popping the unit out.

Have undone the screw but this thing does not want to pop out

is there anything else that needs to be undone or is it a case of using brute force on it.

its a 2000 classic

thanks for your help

yes you might need to use brute force, but it will just slide out.. have they ever been taken out before?

i cant remember now if there is a small plastic tab that needs moving to one side which will allow the unit to slide forward, i know my aftermarket ones just slide forward now.

There is a plastic ball joint that clips into the wing. It really does need a decent wedge out.

You could undo the headlight bolts, move that to the side to make it a bit easier.
