I am looking at ordering an exhaust system but am going to keep one of the cat pipes on just to keep it legal. will just one of the cats be ok at mot time and which would i be best getting rid of. the down pipe cat or the secons cat. car will be remapped once fit

any ideas guys much appriciated?

PPP involves losing the second cat, so I am guessing that at the very least, keeping the first cat plus a remap will see you pass an MOT.

ditch the center cat and a get a 100cel sports cat DP, then remap!

I think on the 06 STI there is a CAT in the up pipe as well, could get rid of that as well, Harvey on here does uppipes

The downpipe is better than earlier cars just drop the second cat and fit a panel filter and remap. Should see 330+ and no hassle come not time
