Leather interior on classic (baby proofing)
Seen a couple of threads in the Interior forum but too old to see pics.
I have 1st kid on the way and expect to keep Scoob for a few years yet so I know its going to take a beating from usual baby / small child sticky & gooey things.
Can anyone suggest a sensible upgrade to interior, my standard rear seat cushions are fine but will need re-covering, front seats are tired and the bucket seats dont seem to re-cover well due to the curves.
I have UK 1997 turbo
I figure a child 'proof' interior is much cheaper than a new car!
Cheers

I have 98 buckets in my 2001 bug and i had my mate recover them for me and although he did say they were awkward he did a great job.I havnt had the rears done yet even tho i have 2 sprogs myself i may get it done in the future.
I would add that the baby seats will mark or imprint their shape into the leather/foam so you may want to consider a piece of cloth between the two.
Oh and they will need regular feeding too.(the leather as well as the kids lol)
