I have recently got myself a 2006 WRX.

Can anyone tell me when the fuel light normally comes on for this car.

I ran the fuel pretty low, the guage was sitting on the Empty bar but still no light came on.

I would have thought it would have come on long before that as according to the manual you have 9 litres left when it comes on.

Is there a common fault with these?

I was pretty low on fuel , the needle was reading on the empty and i was wondering if i had even got a fuel light, but on route to the petrol station it popped on. Seems to come on when it's very very low

Mines an 04 btw

 

Still 20 miles or so when it comes on on normal a road driving. I can hear sucking through teeth already!

 

Might try to run it a bit lower next time to see if it works!
