Default Classic Window Scratches caused by guides

has anyone found anything that can be used for the window guide felts that will prevent scratching happening?

apart from never using the windows etc

my windows are pretty bad on driverside and looking to replace the glass but want to try and reduce the potential of scratches on new windows

I've never come across anything definitive - other than just replacing them with new ones. Both my front windows are scratched, but at £300+ a side I'll be living with it until my numbers come up

Think I read somewhere that jewellers rouge will remove the scratches though, so will be giving that a try in the summer.
