Dicky Air Con!

Yo yo yo ,
Quick plea for some info really, my A/C has gone directly to lunch recently. The little 'click' from the relay in the fusebox area doesn't happen anymore when I hit the A/C button. Also the light (inside the button) which usually comes on doesn't anymore also.
Checked all the fuses....they're ok.
Dunno which relay it is to replace, wondering if low gas levels can cause system to shut down?
cheers for any help,
Alex

yes low pressure in the system causes the safety to cut in so you cant overheat and burn out the compressor when theres no gas in it so you prob only need a recharge as for the light the bulb has prob gone just replace it.

a.k.a. A strong french drink!
Looks like a trip to a specialist then. I always thought the A/C was pathetic but perhaps a gas recharge will sort it out. Cheers for the advice.

when purchasing my scoob a while back I went in an identical to mine 93WRX and the air coming through it's vents was extremely extremely cold ! Mine when it worked was pants in comparison. Makes a big difference I think

Guys
I got my aircon recharged last year when in for a service @ a scoob dealer. Cost £65 to recharge the system & they said that it also had an 'electrical fault' but didn't specify what.
Anyway, I've running the aircon for 5 - 10 mins every few days as recommended during the winter & recently tried it with the temp set to cold & it seems to have stopped working again. I would have thought a re-gas should have lasted longer than 10 months.
Any ideas Scoobyboy (does Chris still work beside you & is Rod still in sales?)
