Default 93-96 Coilpacks on v3 sti heads.

I have a 96 sti with ej25 conversion running version 3 sti heads. The engine is all built now but i am having problems firing her up. The engine is turning over and their is fuel havn't yet checked sparked yet as this just popped into my head. I am using my old coilpacks from my ej20 v2 engine and was thinking whether they where even reaching the plugs?
Never even thought about it at the time of building it up but should i be running other coilpacks? If so can anyone tell me which ones and if you have any? as i will have them off you right away.

Thanks Alan

Hi im sure if you using the standard sti heads and coilpacks they are matched as they fit the heads and changing block wont affect them.

Sounds like timing or immobiliser.

Im sure someone could help a little better.

Yeah im looking for a pair of cam sensors at the moment but ive check spark etc and its all good, fuel good and cams in correct order which i have made the mistake of before lol. Almost sounds like low compression. Going to try a compression test tomorrow but i really think the cam sensors might be faulty..

if you've got spark and fuel it should fire, and would indicate your sensors are working ?
