right need abit of help got my self a uk bugeye wrx.in 1 2 3 gear it makes 1.5 which pulls fine and goes well.when in 4th it goes to 1.7 then 5th 2bar and puts the cel on. if i take the pipe of that goes 2 the actuator and turbo and put a stright bit of pipe in its runs a bar in all gears fine.i has bin mapped so dont no if the boost solenoid is crap

hope you've had some engine work done, otherwise 2bar will break stuff real quick !

take it to a specialist asap.depending on spec of your engine mods,2bar seems a tad high.

that sounds like a LOT of boost. defo sounds like there is a boost control problem. get it looked at by someone who knows what they are talking about.

ya 2 bar is 2 high 4 it but if i put a stright bit of pipe in between the actuator and the turbo with out the boost solenoid it runs a bar in all gears fine

Is this a Pill restrictor issue? Dont quote me, but if the pill has spun or is the wrong size then it will adhoc boost, I think the newage (bug>) the smaller the restirctor the higher the boost, whereas the Classic is the opposite....

PS, I think the standard Bug WRX had 1.2mm restictor standard, whereas the STI is smaller thus more boost.
