Default changed plugs but wasn't expecting to find what I did..

I changed the plugs on my '05 STi today.. and found that it was 6G not 6B plugs that were in there.. any idea why someone would have put them in?

6g is correct. They are the original fit. PFR6b's are easier to buy and do exactly the same job. The last letter in the spec is a small detail that has no effect on heat range or performance.

Thats good to know, I wasnt sure why they were there. Not done too bad really then 47,500 miles on the original plugs.

Runs better now though thats for sure.

Cheers,
Lee

They would have been changed at the 30k service if carried out by a dealer?
