Default Few basic questions:

Sorry if some are repeated or the answers are already available. Im and ex scooby owner and now looking to get into one this week. I have my eyes on a v6 sti wagon with 60k miles. A few questions here goes:

Ive had a few wrx wagons in the past with no problems with the engine..

1. Do all subaru wrx/sti engines eventually suffer from bottom end/ rebuild senario?

2. Surely warming the engine and letting it cool down, regular oil change and letting oil circulate before starting up are factors that will allow the engine to live longer?

3. If an entire engine rebuild is required, i know of api who are the best, what is a typical cost?

Just this whole engine thing is playing on my mind
