Ive bought a T reg face lift turbo 2000 and its basically not been touched, whats the best way to increase the power levels and how far can i go? Ive been told that 350bhp is the limit due to the gearbox, ive got some ideas on what i need to change.

What turbo?
Chip/ecu?
exhaust?
injectors?
intercooler?

any help would be great thanks

VF34 or VF35. Or even TD05 16g. All these turbos have to be genuine, to get results.

Think your injectors are 440's so good, no need to change.
STi 8 top mount.

i would say a bigger turbo, fmic, fuel pump, exhaust system with sport cat. downpipe, then remap using ecutek, that will bring power to 300bhp's mark, also using upgraded arb and bushes will save a few horses which otherwise will be lost in chassic movement, and improve handling.

hi mate any figure can be acheived,its how much you wana spend.its best to get one already modified.sti classic shape for abou 3.5k. you will get one which could be running 300bhp.you could spend that much on doing yours to 300+bhp.nice1

i thought about getting one that somebody else has done, but it takes the fun out of modifiying, id rather do it myself,

thanks for the pointers, would a front mount intercooler be better than a top mount?
