Hi I am thinking of tuning my 01 UK300 but have no idea were to start as I was hoping to keep the car as standard as possible given the fact that there are less and less each year and I don't want it to go past the point that it cannot be returned to standard if I or someone else wishes. The important things are this, is the PPP version so should have somewhere around 245BHP. So how do you guys recommended I go about getting this magic number?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks, think I want to keep the cat or sports cat can't be doing with the messing every year and I don't know any scooby friendly garages around Grantham. So a uprated fuel pump is a good investment with a new exhaust I didn't realise they made that much difference I suspose it all works better with the remap when you programme the fuel ratios, sorry I don't know much about remaps or anything am hoping to learn with my scooby......

Depends how much BHP you want from your Subaru, this is first important question and from this is depended what you will need.
For 270-280bhp you will need Walbro Fuel pump(£60),uprated Panel filter K&N,Green cotton filter(£35-£45),Sport cat(£250),if you want leave your exhaust like is it standard...
Remap, just contact here Duncan@Race Dynamix(Open source for £350),Richard@FB Tuning(from £300-£350),Slowboy Racing(from £300-£350) or you can go with EcuTek(price will be double like for Open Source) route Simon@JGM,Bob Rawle etc.

As Jura said above, I owned a UK300 which I sold last year and went for STI performance with mine.
So 550cc Pinks (£100), Exhaust decat/sport (varies on what you want), VF35 or 18G (£250-£300), STI TMIC and Tray (£120-£150), Walbro (£72new), STI decat up pipe (is a must! £50), open source remap (£300).
Guessing this will get you well over 300bhp.
