Default remap in south west?

hi iv just got an impreza 2000 turbo 1997 and live in taunton somerset and i was hoping some of you might be able to let me know of any good garages in and around somerset who can remap the car for me an give me advice on the tuning?? my first impreza only had her 4 days an loving it!!

You getting the standard ecu mapped or going down the aftermarket route?

Engine Tuner is in Plympton not too far down the M5.I think hes going to a club meeting and drive around which starts at Exeter services just down the road on the 27th theres a thread on here if you fancy going Ps i might see you around im just up the road

And another for ET. Hour and 10 minutes from Taunton. I should know been down there a lot recently

What colour is your car I'll keep a look out for you. Look out for a Blue Wagon with STI scoop coming up behind you

It will need a Simtek or aftermarket ecu on there as that ecu is unmappable - sorry.

its got the sti closed deck bottom end, lightened fly wheel, induction kit, dump valve, quick shift, 4inch scorpion exhaust and poss a few other bits but think its got alot more potential with the sti bottom end.

the 97 sti didnt have a closed deck block btw

not alot else as far as i know bar wat iv wrote higher up exhaust, lightened fly wheel induction kit, chap i got car of recons i should be able 2 get 300bhp+ with a larger turbo and remap with the closed deck bottom end but ill be looking for advice an chatting to engine tuner for wat i should do once iv got some extra cash again

getting new discs an pads all round a week sat as brakes are shocking at mo been quoted £545 fitted front and back for ebc 1s think thats fairly reasonable??

hi engine tuner done mine running 450/450 in gc8 i live in bristol so its a 250 mile round trip but its worth it .runs stop on
