Default Engine a bit noisy after oil change

Mate has just done oil change after running in his completly rebuilt engine and has called me to say its a bit clickity on tick over. Is this something to worry about?
New filter, fully filled over time to allow to soak in, Millers synthetic 10w 50 oil. Coils removed and engine cranked until pressure obtained.

Only seems to click (not knock) on tickover.

Its a 95 WRX import with a fair few engine mods inc cams.

Wouldnt have run a 10w50 fully synth oil in a newly built engine with about 1k miles on it, its better for a 5w40 or a 10w40 fully synth AFTER about 4-5k miles, run a semi synth in between (10w40)

I wouldnt worry fella, myn is identical on tick over[forge build] with 1800 miles on it now.
Tbho its just one of the bug bears with a forge builds unfortunatly and if he has hydraulic lifters then they can become noisy when there old and slightly worn as well.
Oh and i also run cfs 10/50 oil mate.

Default Engine noise

The oil was recommended on here.
Still making noise and owner a little concerned as was not making a noise before oil change.
The car has been off the road for a long time having full rebuild and was all good with no noise until he changed the oil today.

different oils do make the engine sound different, but it's not necessarily because they are worse/better for the engine AFAIK.

Mine is a lot quieter on 10-50 e.g. than 5-40, but it seems rev-happier etc on the thinner stuff.
