it is a fiddly job but doable should ony take an hour, dont get new gaskets pop out the gasket give it a good clean get all the oil off and clean the cover get some decent sealent job done.

if bolts come out easy enough,if not engine out jobbie, just dont over tighten ,may be wise to use new ones and half moons in head.

i done a friends a good 3 years ago ,garage had used a non genuine gasket that lasted few months and was loosing alot of oil,
i done it as needed a quick fix
cleaned non genuine off resealed with threebond 1215 and to this day still bone dry and at time was just a quick fix

Yeah both are leaking unfortunately, does anyone know what the torque setting is for the bolts on the rocker cover? I had a quick check for tightness and they didn't seem massively tight. However I gave them a bit of a pinch but I'd like to know the settings so I can torque these properly.

It looks like a pain in the bum on the drivers side, the passenger side looks like battery removal, and the washer bottle (I saw on a DIY online somewhere). What needs to be taken out the way on the drivers side?

I imagine it's similar to my car, replace the seal and use sealant, replace the seals on the bolts. Any recommendations on a good sealant?
