few quick questions:)
hi all, now ive got a couple years no claims im going to get a impreza turbo 2000, looked at a few and got a few questions if you could help me please
one i looked at has a driver door window which doesnt align when fully up and has to be lifted round so door can close, is this just a matter of taking door card off and tightening up loose bolts you recon or whole new workings?
might sound silly but how do you know if a car is an import?
also a few ive looked at have said they run on normal unleaded petrol is this ok? ive heard can cause engine damage although there was no knocks etc
also do you know the offical 0 to 60 on a standard impreza turbo 2000, year 2000
cheers

Has the window frame still got the guide tab on?
The "Model code" would have a K in the 7-digit code, as far as I'm aware. Also, a UKDM Turbo 2000 has a tell-tele "Bright" button in the centre facia.
Need to run it 97 RON or better. Not sure whether a UK Turbo 2000's map was designed to run on 95 - so better play safe.
Prodrive, who were importers/sellers of the Turbo 2000, stated 0-60mph in 5.5s and 137mph Vmax (taken from an Autocar & Motor road test) - according to their magazine advert of 1994 (had a picture of a red Turbo 2000 with aftermarket Azev or Borbet 5-spoke alloys fitted).
Turbo 2000 4WD:-
MY94-96: 208 bhp / 201 lb ft
MY97/98: 208 bhp / 214 lb ft
MY99/00: 215 bhp / 214 lb ft
