I'd go for Gates.

Cosworth's main in house automative manufacture is engine forgings and castings

Gates make belts and hoses. Thats all they do.

(Call me cynical, but I bet the Cosworth belts are actually outsourced and made by someone like Gates and given a blue coating/branding )

Go for the Cosworth/PE one. Stronger and lasts longer than OEM.

We have these in stock, along with pulleys - not on the website, so give us a call:

lasts longer than OEM.
Does that mean you can ignore the usual 60month/60K mile change intervals?

And if it does last longer will it be warrantied if it breaks after, say 61months/61K miles?

The Cosworth belt uses kevlar in its construction.
We stock them also.

I just noticed: Gates "Racing" cambelts have almost identical sales literature; they just changed some words around LOL .

So looks like Cosworth belts are actually Gates Racing belts rebranded for UK sales/marketing (figures).

No bad thing though. It actually makes them better as it is made by a dedicated belt manufacturer....apart from it appears to have a 90 day warranty : OE belts are warrantied for 60month/60K. Hopefully thats just a mistyped internet red-herring.

Can you confirm the Cosworth belt's warranty period Alan?

Does the blue sometimes not come off the kevlar belts as well?
