Question oil cooler and oil changes

I will be installing an oil cooler, between the FMIC & Radiator, much the same as in post #3 of thread...
https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...-location.html

The question is.... when oil changes are done will dirty oil reside in the cooler, does this matter etc etc.

Thx.

I don't think a little residual oil will be a a problem. After all during a typical oil change the eingine will take about 0.5litres less than after a strip down, clean and rebuild of the engine. That means that for typical oil changes some old oil remains in the system.

It's good to know that it's not an issue. Thx.
