Default Airbag light

Hi people, i have put an aftermarket steering wheel on my97 2000 turbo which has removed the airbag, i am unsure which 2 terminals the resister attaches to so i can get rid of the annoying light while driving.
If you look at the wheel there are 6 little prongs/terminals (not sure what they are called) the 3 on the left are for the airbag and the other 3 are for the horn, now my resister has 2 wires but there are 3 to choose from, does anyone know the exact 2 or will it be o.k if i just guess, also if i guess and get it wrong will any fuses or the resister blow?

help would be great

Thanks for the reply, thing is last time i had my dials out im sure the airbag light did'nt have alittle bulb that i could twist out like the other lights which were easily accessible, plus does the light not need to come on and off for the mot?

Pretty sure Air Bag light is not in MOT - just an advise if on. It's the ABS that has to light up for the 'self check' then go out again for MOT.

(Check with MOT Station 1st tho pls !)

If you have still light use 3.3 ohm resistor which will cancel Airbag light, just be sure is it 3.3 ohm and not 3.3kohm.
Here is guide how to do

Cheers J.

Is it still a 3.3 ohm one required for the phase 2 MY99/00 cars too?

I currently just have the bulb removed, but would like to put in a resistor, so that it retains the OEM checking routine/arms the passenger airbag, etc....
