any one had this problem and what did you do?
Hi all, my classic seems to be swirling on build up of boost and also the airflow readings are going up n down, which in turn cause the fueling to go up n down, this then makes knock n det. ? only does it under load, ie pull from 2k in 5th as it gets up to 3500 turbos at full spool n starts it, but then if im going thro the gears its fine. ne one had simular ?

yep mate, gearbox number 3 for this month is in LOL and yeh another map to add to the list, yep got it last night during a mapping session, going for new set of pfr7bs and new leads and new cam and crank sensors ( 2nd hand ) and need to check all hoses and check the wiring down the drivers side engine for maf etc as i might half some faulty / split wiring etc, also gonna go for a z32 maf next, this is if the gearbox holds out long enough lol, i am however being a lot more sympathetic with this one lol

I bet you are mate lol,my front diff has just gone in myn,it felt a bit weird when it went as the car started to torque steer like crazy across the road lol

Not the best when the knock is getting up around those's levels.
Did you ever experience anything like my box has gone in yours?
I wouldn't recommend giving myn the beans as she is right now lol,it could literally put you through the hedge row!
