MY96 std fuel pressure reg pipe missing HELP!

i've just seen that the fuel pressure regulator pipe has been cut on my 96 wrx. the is about 1" of rubber hose coming from the reg but i can't find where it should go to. can someone please tell me where it should go to.

Sounds like its the pressure reference line as that is about 1-2" long. It should connect to a nipple on the inlet manifold right next to the FPR.
