Default Rattle = knackered drop link ??

Hi guys I have a slight rattle that sounds like it's by the drivers side wheel on my 52 WRX, could this be caused by the drop link and if so is there anyway of doing a check to confirm ? I only hear it when I'm moving  any help appreciated

Park car on a level surface so there is no load on the ARB then get under and check the the drop links for play. Drop link wear/failure quite likely after driving on our ice rutted and pot holed roads.
