Afternoon all,
I was trying to do the right thing by putting the standsrd re-circ back on this afternoon, took the car out for a spin afterwards and had the EML light flashed for a minute or so?
Limped it back to my drive, checked all the obvious and all was in order so took it back out and its not on anymore (did come on for a second when i hit the national speed limit on the motorway but went out again)...car pulls as it should.
Just need somebody to put my mind at rest that it was just the car getting used to the re-circ again!!!
Any advice appreciated![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)

The Bug was the year the ECU changed from JECS to DENSO.......very capable ECU and my bug runs the original ECU mapped for all sorts of things including methanol injection.
The current OEM ECU can be mapped for anti-lag, flat foot shifting, blip on downshift etc. but the original bug ECU was a bit flakey and did throw camshaft position sensor CELs near the rev limit and got confused over the Neutral Position Switch......
If the light has gone out and it's running fine then I wouldn't worry......get a code reader and read historic codes for peach of mind![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
