Default Will these wheels fit?

I was wondering if anybody coulkd tell me if these wheels will fit my car;

First of the car is a 2005 Subaru Impreza STI.

Secondly the wheels. Pcd is 5x114.3mm, the offset is 35mm - 45mm, and the centre bore of the wheels are 67.1mm, and they are 18".

Will these wheels fit on no problem, will they fit with spacers, or will they not fit at all?

Thank you in advance
Robert

If the offset is 45 then you'll be ok. Unsure on 35

45 offset is fine, 35 means arches will need rolling...

IMHO

P.S. They still need to clear your brakes, that depends on the spoke design...

Just contacted the seller who said that the offset is actually 38 to 45, if this is the case am I still going to have the same problem by having to role the arches if these were 35 to 45. The seller has advised me that for 05 onward sti's have an offset of 38 to 50, is this correct? Any help with this new information would be greatly appreciated

The actual alloys themselves can only be ONE ET?? value!

It's simply the distance of the wheel's inner mating face from the imaginary centre-line through the width of the wheel. The higher the number (in mm), the further within the confines of the arch the wheel sits. The lower the number, the deeper the wheel's 'dish', and therefore the further out in the arch it sits. If the ET value is too low, then it may foul the arches.

What is the minimum offset I can have so they fit with out them fouling the arches. Also if the hub/bore size does not match (i.e. the wheels hub is bigger than the cars) then would I need spigot rings to cure this?

Thanks again people, I think i'm almost there and have learnt a lot about wheels in the last 2 days

Loads of different sized spigot ring combos readily available on eBay to get the Centre Bore correct.

An ET of anywhere between 40-45 should see you fine with no arch/caliper issues, I should think.

Any lower than 40, you'd have to try 'em on, to see.............

If new the supplier should include spigot rings where necessary.

Unfortunately they are not new and they are off a different make of car (Mitsubishi) so this is why I want to make sure before purchasing them. If the offset was below 40 (still waiting for the seller to get back to me with a definate figure) could I use a spacer to increase the offset to what I need. Thanks for your help, it has been much appreciated.

No, that makes things worse! I A low figure means the wheel will be already well out in the arch. A spacer will push it out even further!

Clearly I haven't learnt that much!

So if you want to decrease the offset number then you can fit spacers, is there anyway you can increase the offset number? Thanks

I've just found this, do I still need a minimum offset of 40 for a 2005, the fourth 1 down

Model Year PCD Offset Bore
Forrester 91 on 5×100 40 to 50 56.1
Impreza 93 to 98 5×100 40 to 50 56.1
Impreza STI 02 to 04 5×100 40 to 50 56.1
Impreza STI 05 on 5×114.3 38 to 50 56.1
Impreza WRX 01 on 5×100 42 to 50 56.1
Justy 96 on 4×114.3 35 to 42 60.1
Legacy 91 on 5×100 42 to 50 56.1
SVX 92 to 99 5×114.3 42 to 50 64.1

* You can't bring in a wheel any further into the arch - its position is set by its offset when its mounted to the hub face... But you can push a wheel further out in the arch, by placing a spacer 'twixt wheel mounting face and hub face (plus using longer wheel studs too).

* Well it says ET38 is the minimum. So I wouldn't go any lower than that. So yeah, a ET40 wheel should be okay.
