Hi,

I am not 100% sure, but most cars have a return line , and a non-Return valve to keep the pressure. Maybe its still attached to the old pump carriage..
I haven changed mine yet, its the next job on my list.

there's no visible external leaks and i even bypassed the rail and it still drops. i suppose if i remove the return pipe and route it to a container i could tell if its the reg passing. how does the fuel pump keep pressure is there a non return valve?
